How do I prepare my cat for a stay at Cozy Cat Resort?

Preparing your cat for a stay Cozy Cat Resort is important in ensuring a positive experience. To help prepare your cat for a stay, here are some tips to follow:

  • Make sure all vaccinations and medications are up-to-date. Most luxury boarding facilities require cats to be vaccinated against diseases such as rabies, feline leukemia, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Additionally, ensure any ongoing medications or treatments are packed and ready to go.
  • Familiarize your cat with its carrier, so they feel comfortable traveling in it before the stay. You can also line it with familiar bedding to create an inviting and comforting atmosphere.
  • Pack familiar items such as toys, beds and blankets to ensure your cat feels at home while away. Bring a few treats or small pieces of their favorite food so the staff can reward them for good behavior!  DO NOT bring catnip or catnip toys.
